New directors announced for the BHC Board

Leading social and affordable housing developer BHC is welcoming three new Directors to their Board. 

BHC Independent Chair Karen Howard said the appointments come at a pivotal time for the organisation and the housing sector. 

“We are delighted to welcome Martin Kidd, Michael Hobson and Geoff McFarlane to the BHC Board,” Ms Howard said. 

“Each brings significant expertise, leadership and insight that will strengthen our ability to deliver on our mission and respond to Queensland’s growing housing needs. 

“We are committed to working alongside the Queensland Government, Brisbane City Council, industry and community partners to help deliver more homes for Queenslanders and play our part in delivering on the State’s target of 53,500 social and affordable homes by 2044.” 

Deputy CEO Mr Jamie Muchall said: “We offer the organisation’s sincere thanks to outgoing Directors Les Jones, Katie Williams and Maggie Forrest for their invaluable contribution to BHC.

“Their leadership, dedication and commitment to our purpose have helped position the organisation for its next phase of growth and impact.”
