Here, we highlight the developments that have made a meaningful difference. Places that support thriving communities and show what thoughtful, quality housing can achieve.
Solstice is BHC’s first development in the City of Moreton Bay, offering 82 architecturally designed social and affordable homes for Queenslanders aged 55 and over. Opened in October 2025, the development was purpose-built for seniors and downsizers, providing a safe, welcoming environment that supports independence and community connection.

Located just moments from Redcliffe’s foreshore, shops, and essential services, the building features one-bedroom apartments with a flexible multi-purpose room, private balconies, and thoughtful design for ageing-in-place. All homes meet Gold or Platinum Livable Housing Design Standards, ensuring accessibility and comfort for residents with varying mobility needs, and feature rooftop gardens and communal spaces for residents to enjoy.
Arq, located in Brisbane’sinner-south, welcomed its first residents in September 2025. The development delivers 82 social and affordable homes, offering a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments designed for comfort and security.

Situated in the vibrant Stones Corner precinct, Arq is just moments from Logan Road’s café strip, boutique shopping, and public transport, with easy access to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, major employment hubs, and the Brisbane CBD.
Arq features sustainable design elements, including natural cross-ventilation, a 7+ star energy rating, rooftop communal spaces, and solar-powered common areas. Residents enjoy a strong sense of community with shared gardens, BBQ facilities, and a dedicated community room – all within a lively urban setting.
On 1 October 2025, The Curwen welcomed its first residents to their new homes. The development provides 92 thoughtfully designed apartments – a mix of one-bedroom (including multi-purpose room options) and two-bedroom homes, combining social and affordable housing.

With easy access to Westfield Chermside, health precincts, parks, and public transport, The Curwen provides secure, high-quality housing in a connected urban setting. The building features subtropical design principles, natural cross-ventilation, and sustainability measures including a 7+ star energy rating, solar-powered communal spaces, and rooftop alfresco areas.
Ethel Residences welcomed its first residents in March 2025, marking the completion of a thoughtfully designed development in the heart of Chermside.

With a blend of one- and two-bedroom apartments, Ethel Residences caters to singles, couples, and smaller families seeking secure, high-quality housing in a connected urban setting.
