BHC Impact Fund

Through the BHC Impact Fund, we support residents with grants and initiatives that promote education, employment, wellbeing, and community engagement.

The Fund is an annual commitment of a minimum of $150,000 that allows us to identify and directly fund initiatives that create positive outcomes for our residents and their communities.

Addressing unmet support needs in four priority areas

The Impact Fund provides BHC residents with important access to programs and services not being funded elsewhere, across four priority areas:

Tenancy sustainment and progression

Initiatives to support residents experiencing mental health concerns, domestic violence and other complex issues that can lead to tenancy breakdowns.

Employment, skills and participation

Providing access to training, education and volunteering opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.

Enhanced resident wellbeing

Ensuring residents are able to access services and initiatives that promote health, wellbeing and inclusion.

Cohesive communities

Ensuring residents feel positive about their communities and are connected to relevant facilities and activities.

Employment and Participation

Connecting residents with employment, training, and volunteering opportunities to build confidence and independence.

Health and Wellbeing

Supporting physical and mental health to help residents sustain long-term housing.

Counselling Services

Providing access to counselling to support emotional wellbeing.

Rehabilitation and Hardship Support

Assisting residents facing health challenges or financial hardship to remain safely housed.
