Our Team

Speciality Housing

In addition to social and affordable housing options, BHC provides a limited range of housing designed to meet the unique needs of specific groups in our community.

Our specialty housing options are designed to support people at different stages of life and with different needs.

Seniors Housing

Safe, accessible, and comfortable homes tailored for older Queenslanders who want to live independently with peace of mind.

Our homes are built to support “ageing in place,” meaning they’re designed to adapt to residents’ changing needs over time, so you can stay in your home and community for longer. Much of BHC’s seniors housing is allocated to specific programs supporting Department of Housing and Public Works strategies to free up three and four bedroom houses. Accordingly, there are limited seniors housing opportunities available within our portfolio.

Disability Housing

Purpose-built or modified homes that support people living with disability to live with dignity, independence, and choice.

Within our portfolio, we have a range of apartments that may be regarded as adaptable apartments to meet the needs of residents with disabilities. Within our newer developments, many of our apartments are constructed to meet the silver and gold standards of Livable Housing Australia, in addition to some Platinum units. Silver standards typically allow for minimum clearances, hobless shower and provision for grab rails. Gold units provide additional clearances and hobless shower to support people who may require mobility assistance. Platinum units provide increased clearances and turning circles, increased height toilet pans,

BHC has a small number of apartments that are approved Specialist Disability Accommodation. If you have approval from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for SDA Housing, please contact us to discuss if there is a suitable vacancy.

Market for Rent

BHC provides a limited number of market for rent homes within some of our buildings.

These are apartments offered at market rates, ideal for individuals and families seeking secure, professionally managed housing in great locations.

These homes are advertised on realestate.com.au when available.
