Developments

BHC has a strong emphasis on design and liveability, choosing locations carefully and ensuring the design and type of development complements the local community.

BHC’s developments provide accessible, affordable and high quality homes for Queenslanders in housing need, including people experiencing homelessness, people living with a disability, older Australians and families.  Since our inception in 2002, we have created over $400 million in residential dwellings and have sold in excess of $100 million to investors and owner occupiers. As a not-for-profit organisation, any income we receive is reinvested in the supply of quality, affordable homes and housing services.

Over 20 years, our experienced team has created a portfolio of award-winning developments, cementing BHC as one of Australia’s leading developers of social and affordable housing. We work with Brisbane’s best architects, planners, engineers, builders and other industry professionals to ensure that each and every development displays our commitment to high-quality design, finish and functionality.

BHC developments are designed with our future residents in mind and are carefully located close to key facilities such as employment, schools, shops, hospitals, restaurants, community services and transport routes. Our buildings offer accessible, affordable and inclusive living environments and we are committed to creating cohesive communities both within the building itself, and within the neighbourhoods in which we operate.
