We believe providing opportunities to connect and engage with each other is key when creating liveable communities.

Integral to this aim is a robust, ongoing process of tenant engagement which seeks input from our tenants on the management of their housing and which looks to empower tenants to improve their lives in other ways.

We wish to encourage each and every one of our tenants, residents and owners to get involved and do their part to establish and maintain vibrant, healthy neighbourhoods where people feel safe and connected.

Events Calendar

POSTPONED - 4th Annual BHC and JSCC Neigbours Cup

The upcoming Table Tennis Tournament is postponed until further notice.

This event will be rescheduled and information about a new date will be shared in due time.

The regular JSCC BBQ will run as normal on Wednesday 25th March, with increased hygiene and safety protocols in place.

Jeays Street Community Centre March Program

Location: Jeays Street Community Centre, 12 Jeays Street, Bowen Hills
Opening Hours: 9:30am – 1:30pm, Monday – Friday except Thursday’s 9:30am – 1:00pm

WMQ February Program

Green Square Community Amazing Art Exhibition

Date: Saturday 6 June
Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Location: Level 1, Maida Lilley Centre Community Room, 5 Green Square Close, Fortitude Valley

The coming of storm 2020 fundraising event brings the community together and uses art to share stories that help connect.

The event will feature a pop-up art exhibition with a collection of artwork from local artists.

Artwork registration opens March 2nd and closes May 18th. For further details see event flyer and artist registration form.

 

Reclink Australia Street Games February Schedule

Location: Various Locations – please see calendar below for locations and times

Street Games provides free, accessible sports programs in hot spots and parks to get active, have fun and socialise.

Reclink provides a wide variety of sports and recreational activities – from soccer and volleyball, to kicking a footy around and even egg-and-spoon races! Street Games is very social and activities are usually decided by the interested participants who come along. Street Games is a safe space for all people and a drug and alcohol free zone.

Communify Qld has many activities and events on offer at various community spaces. Many activities are Communify-run and supported, whilst others are provided by external business and groups who hire the spaces.

Communify's Art-Ability

Communify Qld is proud to support Art-Ability, an all-abilities art class for people who love to create, socialise and express themselves.

Communify's - Let's Eat Together - Every Friday
